Kingston Public Library Announces Change in Operating Hours

 

Steve Jacks, Director of Library Services, has announced that effective October 1, 2008, the Kingston Public Library will be operating under a new schedule.  The library will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Monday and Thursday; 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday; and 9:00 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday.   The change in hours is due to projected increases in heating and cooling costs.   Mr. Jacks stated that the expanded hours on Monday and Thursday will give those patrons who normally cannot make it to the library during the week more opportunity to use the library.  For more information about the change contact the Director at 865-376-9905.
